What is Money Coaching?
Money Energetics' behavioural money coaching uses proven guided processes that support you to understand the reasons behind how you are with money - whether you're hanging on to it for dear life, or can't seem to keep it at all, and everything in between. Maybe you suffer from money overwhelm or avoidance, or repeating money scenarios that you can't seem to break free of? Or perhaps you feel the need for greater financial confidence, ease and abundance?
Money coaching can help by supporting you to unearth your subconscious money patterns, and take small yet powerful steps to grow new, positive money habits. Unlike traditional financial advisory services, money coaching focuses on your emotions, behaviours and patterns around money, and is often the 'missing middle step' between becoming aware you need to do something to change your relationship with money, but not quite knowing where to start, or how to go about it.

Why Work with Me?
If you're ready to change your money story, then I'm here to help you make that happen. I founded Money Energetics to bring an open heart, deep listening & effective guidance to those ready to repair their relationship with money. My own lived experience of successfully overcoming money trauma means that I know that change is possible. And when it comes to money habits and secrets, nothing shocks me.

I will gently support you to uncover the unconscious money patterns running your money life, and offer practical tools to assist you to create a new, positive relationship with money - to change your money story. When you're ready to get your beliefs, behaviours and emotions around money unstuck, and step into your power, I'm here to help.

In addition to being a Certified Money Coach (CMC) ®, my diverse experience also includes over 20 years of voluntary money coaching, educational services work, and training in meditation, bodywork, healing intergenerational trauma, emotional intelligence coaching, and grounded theory.
My Money Story
I was raised in a household jam-packed with money chaos and trauma, where inherited gambling addictions on both sides of my family often led to loss of homes, hope and connection. Vicious repeating cycles of rags-to-riches and back again made it look to me like there was no way up or out.

I turned 30 with only $3.74 in the bank. This was despite 16 years of work that included some high-paying jobs. I had almost nothing to show for it apart from a few nice outfits and a self-funded education. I realised I remained stuck in a negative relationship spiral with my money, viewing it just like one of those wild racehorses my father gambled away our homes on in my childhood - destructive, overpowering and way too dangerous to hold onto for long.

So, I devoted the next 5 years to learning everything I could about money and set about saving myself from…myself. As I steadily put my newfound knowledge into practice, I saw it working wonders in my own life, and I began helping others. By 45, I had turned my financial position around completely, and was a mortgage-free home owner and property investor.
Soon afterwards, when I started all over again as a single parent, I continued to use my proven money practices, and I'm proud to say I'm once again financially free.
My Professional Background
My professional career has been diverse. It spans bilingual teaching at an International School, working as a business analyst for a major international airline, diplomatic postings to Japan and South Korea, leading the Australian Government's Migrant and Refugee Women's Unit, running several small businesses, and topping the sales ladder as a national business development executive for the Australian Institute of Management. My volunteer work has included money coaching, community organising, supporting women to start their own micro-businesses, and media liaison & interpreting/translation services for an international women's war crimes tribunal.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia, a Graduate Diploma from the Australian National University, other postgraduate qualifications in education from the University of New South Wales, and a Certificate IV TAE. I am a certified GENOS Emotional Intelligence profiler and Certified Money Coach (CMC) ®.

I started my own healing journey in 1993, exploring money, meditation, and shiatsu whilst living in Japan. I followed this in the late '90's with three and a half years' training in Rosen Method Bodywork, which included Rosen Method Movement. I later delved into Vipassana meditation, Jungian psychoanalysis, and other Eastern and Western practices focussed on integrating body, mind, and spirit. I have been money coaching intermittently for over 20 years.
